Our first ever Finders Keepers experience on the weekend was wonderful! We had a very successful and fun couple of days and received some really positive feedback on our pieces, which is so exciting!
We’ve been to Finders Keepers before as shoppers, but we’ve never sat on the other side of the table. We met some great people including some fabulous designers and craftspeople.
Finders Keepers wrote a beautiful blog about our label in the days before the market which meant lots of people came and said “hello”, making us feel right at home. Read the post here.
The quality and variety of goods on offer at the markets was super, teamed with great food and drink and lovely music, all wrapped in some perfect Brisbane weather!
It’s very difficult to choose a few designs to feature, but there are a few that we really loved, starting with our near neighbours all making their first appearance at the markets in studio 3.
Elke Lucas creates some beautiful hand thrown porcelain using lovely organic shapes and lines with a beautiful feel and texture; people couldn’t seem to put them down. You can see all of her lovely pieces at Elke Lucas Ceramics
Right next to our stall was The Thinktree where Laura had some beautiful paper products, including cards and prints. Laura’s designs are beautifully finished and put smiles on faces with her wonderfully unique greeting cards. You can see more of Laura’s designs at thethinktree

Jennifer Orland’s jewellery pieces, Laura from TheTHINKTREE, textile design from SitStayGO, Margeaux’s little creatures from Red tree designs, Trish’s designs from SitStayGO and ceramic pieces by Elke Lucas
SitStayGO from Melbourne creates beautiful textile wares created from watercolour paintings digitally printed on to linen. Trish’s designs are colourful and fun, detailing beautiful organic patterns. SitStayGO
Margeaux from Red Tree Designs produces individually handmade pieces from upcycled materials including purses, bags and delightful little fabric creatures. You can see all Margeaux’s designs in her ETSY store Red tree designs
In studio 2 I met Jennifer Orland who produces lovely works from clay including some wonderful jewellery pieces with inspiration drawn from history, art, fashion and nature.
Finders Keepers Brisbane markets was a super event and we can’t wait until it returns in November!
